Gilles : When Junie is coming to visit Gilles in Abu Dhabi...they have nothing better to do than nothing...Sleep, eat, and then eat, sleep...
This is a very tiring program !!

Gilles: Second painting evening for me...I definitly think it's funnier with my Junie Junie !! I came back from work quite late, so started to paint at 9pm. I finished at around midnight !! I have to admit that I am quite tired, but the result is not so bad...

Gilles: Yesterday was Gilles's painting day...

After finishing his office work, Gilles had the good idea to do some painting during his evening. The office work day was quiet compared to the previous days, so it was the good day to do painting.

He did not make it very well: he did not remember that this wall was only the optional wall...to paint once every other wall would be painted. It's Junie, the incredible poussin who reminds him...well it was way too late, Gilles almost had finished to paint the wall.

Paint work at Gilles's house is far from being finished, but at least that optional wall is done now...

To be honest, it looks pretty good. Thanks to Junie who designed the whole apartment.

Yesterday, Junie was painting her nails, Gilles was also sharing the same experience... with brown colour...

Tonight, if my office work permits, Gilles will finish the painting in the living room. There is still a big wall to do, he will manage...

I discovered one thing yesterday: painting is a lot of fun when you are not alone !! I miss my Junie to finish the job !!!...

Junie: painting day was carried out so Gilles apartment can look at tad more homely! it was also inspired by the new change in arrangement of the furniture of his spacious living area.* see left *
Bold colors on the wall and some quirky deco might offset this and hopefully wouldnt add to the outlandishness of the appearance.After much consideration we both agreed on a dark blue color and a beige brown color for the walls as they seem to match harmoniously.


Another merciless act was the pillar in the kitchen. My killer designer instinct gave it 'a van gogh treatment' as gilles will call it. By ragging savagely on the pillar that stands in the middle of the kitchen. That is my pillar monument, one which will bear my metal plaque. Its not finished yet though. Art that is not satisfactory is not finished art.

So this is how the aparment looks like after the arch of triump and a neighbouring wall is given a coat of blue. Damn i wish i could change the color of that dung-yellow wooden door! * oops " scuseeeee mua!
