I decided to bring Gilles to the singapura resturant in Dubai to check out the singaporean fanfare. To my dissapointment , not only was the food sub-standard and non-singaporean, the resturant had a bad selection of songs blasting through the course of our dinner. This includes the patriotic but very cheesy song, " stand up for singapore" and " one pple on nation one
singapore" etc. and the likes which u will never hear on a sane singporean's MP3 collection. Even the most patriotic one. Well next time we check out the italian resturarnt next door instead!
